OOTD

Hello!

I'm so sorry I haven't posted in forever! I started college in September and it's all been a bit hectic settling in etc, plus talking 4 A Levels comes with a ton of work so I've been super busy!

I thought I'd just do a quick outfit of the day as I haven't done one in a while. I went to Brighton today to do some last minute present shopping and threw this on. I actually really liked how it ended up looking! My coat, top and jeans are from Topshop, bag is Acessorize and boots are H&M. I saw this coat in Topshop last year and desperately wanted it, but couldn't afford it, and by the time I could, it had sold out everywhere. But by some mirical a couple of months ago, I found it on eBay and for half the price! I'm so happy it's winter now and I can wear it!

Hopefully I'll be able to post some more soon!

Barry M Gelly Nail Polish

Hiii

I've seen everyone raving about the Barry M High Shine Gel Effect Nail Polishes and i've been dying to try them out myself. So the other day I went and got 2 shades, a lilac colour called 'Prickly Pear' and a deep purple called 'Plum'.

I love painted nails, but I hate painting them. I get so impatient waiting for them to dry and always manage to mess them up, so a fast drying nail polish is key for me. The Barry M nail polishes say they provide 'an extra glossy finish in just one coat' and it did just that. I hate having to do lots of coats to get a nice bright colour so I love getting one coat polishes, and these worked pretty well, even the lighter colour, which I was super pleased about.

Overall I thought these were great; they are vibrant, fast drying and only really need one coat, and I plan to buy a couple more in the future as they have loads of really pretty colours. I really recommend them and they're quite cheap at only £3.99. The only problem I have is that it's already started chipping a bit after one day, so I may need to touch them up, which is a bit of a pain. But then again, I did only do one coat.

Bye for now,

denim

Hiii

I'm starting college in September which means I'll get to wear my own clothes everyday. So I've been saving up some money to buy lots of clothes. I wanted to buy some basics and a few statement pieces and also things that are versatile and can be worn in a lot of different ways.
I found this dress in the Asos sale and I love it. It's a really soft material and so comfy. It's very light weight too so you can wear it in summer or layer it up with a cardi for winter. You can also dress it up or dress it down which I love. It was reduced to £22.50 from £38 I think.

My denim jacket is from eBay. I've been searching for an oversized Levi denim jacket for AGES so I was super happy when I found this. It was only £14.99, which for a Levi jacket is quite cheap so I was lucky to find this.

My shoes are from H&M and I'm in love with them! They were only £14.99 which I think is quite cheap for a pair of shoes; I figured they'd be around double that when I first spotted them. They're a lovely deep red colour which is really nice for autumn/winter. They also have a slight platform which I like because I'm quite tall and don't always like wearing heels so this gives me height without the heel (if that makes sense!) and also makes them more comfy to walk in.

summertime

Hello! Hope you've been enjoying the lovely weather as much as I have!

I've really been into pastels and muted colours recently and put this outfit together. I love this skirt from Topshop (which i actually stole off my sister!), the colours are beautiful and it goes with so many different things. I also love the skater skirt style. The skirt was around £28, but the price is worth it because its such a versatile skirt which you can dress up or down.

My croptop and necklace are also from Topshop (can you tell I love Topshop haha). My sunglasses are from Primark and were only £2.50 and my shoes are from Urban Outfitters and were £38. I bought these shoes a while ago but haven't worn them a lot as I think they're quite summery, but its been the perfect weather to wear them in at the moment!

Fingers crossed the weather stays nice!

10 July 2013

A hello and OOTD!

So I guess this is my first post!

I wasn't quite sure I how I should start this blog off, so I went safe with a boring outfit of the day!

It's been super hot recently which gave me a chance to bring out the summer clothes (finally!)

This Topshop dungarees dress is one of my favourite items of clothing I own. I got it earlier this year with birthday money (I think it was £38??), but have only worn it with tights because the weather's just been too cold, so this was the first time i've worn it with bare legs (which I was a bit apprehensive about because it's very very short!).
The crop top I have on is from Redrock and I love it! I love all things daisy at the moment and when I saw this I just had to get it. It was £24, which is a bit pricey, but I loved it too much to let it go. It is quite short though, so I can't really lift my arms without flashing everyone!

These are my favourite pair of sunglasses I own. I got them last year in Forever 21 in America, so they were super cheap (about $3 I think!). I really love round sunglasses as I love that retro vibe of them.

My bag is from Accessorize. I saw it a couple of months ago and fell in love with it, but it was £32 and a little out of my budget. But the Accessorize 50% sale started recently and to my luck, the bag was in it! So I quickly snapped one up before they were all gone. I really love the vibrant red colour and the perspex front. It's a really good size for an everyday bag, but I would've liked it to be a bit bigger so I could use it as a bag for college. The bag also comes in 2 parts; the outer bag and an inner compartment which is detachable.

I really wanted some simple white shoes for summer, but I didn't want to pay a lot for some, so what better shop to look in than good old Primark! I got these Vans look-a-likes for £6 (bargain!) and I'm really happy with them. They go with a lot of things and it doesn't really matter if I get them dirty as I can just get some more. I never really get shoes from Primark because they're not always the best quality, but I think i'll get a lot of wear out of these.

Hope you're enjoying the warm weather!
